Face unlock by phases.

hay!

something that really driving me crazy is that i want to both look at my lock screen (without unlocking and go to the homescreen) and still be able to see notifications in AOD. i want to unlock and go to home screen when i want to (swipe) and still not hide messages. PLEAS.

    Hi!

    After playing around a little bit I found the solution to your problem!

    Go to Settings > Security & lock screen > Cog wheel on Screen lock > Privacy

    There you can choose to "Detect face to show all notifications"

    This way you can still look at your lock screen and swipe up to unlock it!

    or you could just go inside faceid settings, and enable display notification option.
