Android 12 lock pattern placement

Hi all, I just received Android 12 update on my ZenFone8 and ... It's a disaster.

The most painful change was the placement of lock pattern dots at the lock screen. These are very high compared to previous ones. I can barely reach there with my thumb.

Is there any way to fix it? I need them lower... Also there are so many UI changes like clock/drop down menu that are ridiculously bad - is there any chance of changing it ???

    I hope so too. This will mainly be Google's doing. I think the Android 12 UI is absolutely horrible.

    Absolutely this. The pin pad placement is so high up I've had my phone slipping out my hand a couple times now trying to reach it.
