I'm not going to use the wifi inbetween midnight and 6:30. I'd like my kids to sleep at those times too. No wifi helps. Turning each device off one by one is a bit of a hassle if you have about 17 devices...
Is that possible?
If you turn on any wifi analyzer, how many networks (except your one) you can see? I mean, does your house stay in a kinda countryside and you don't see any WiFi except your own?
Download "Automate" and create flow according to your needs.
A used it to turn off WiFi , lower ringing loudness in work etc.
This is not about wifi radiation. It's about limiting acces to internet for the kids at night.
I can't find any program called "Automate". Where can I find it?
Oh phoei. Forgot to specify I was talking about the Zenwifi XT8 Mesh system.
It's very strange that there isn't a "Networking Community" subforum here. With all the networking hardware ASUS sells for so long already...
Now I understand you. In that case idea is cool, but not for that subforum. Better try writing to tech support.
Although turning off all radios on a schedule might be a feature in todays radiowave riddled world.
Anyway. Found out most XT8 questions go to the laptop/other subforum. I'll try again there.
This can be closed.
There are Parental Controls and scheduling in the Asus routers: RT-AX86U, RT-AC3200, etc. Sorry, I haven't checked out the mesh system. There is Merlin, a third party Asus router UI source, that may be of help.

IIUC all the interfaces for all AIMesh systems are the same. Which are most ASUS Routers. I've seen the parental controls but they only work for one device at a time. I'd like to shut the entire internet down after midnight.
You can find the wifi scheduling in the WiFi setup, Professional settings, Asus has an FAQ for it, but I'm not able to post the link here.
Search: Asus wifi scheduling
Here's where to find the setting...
