Reaction types are actions you can take to respond a post for sharing your viewpoints or emotions.

Promote

Only moderators have the ability to promote the best posts in the community. This way they can be featured for new visitors.

• Adds 5 to a post's score.
• Gives 5 points to the user.

Helpful

Helpful comments bring new information or perspective to the discussion and increase the value of the conversation as a whole.

• Adds 1 to a post's score.
• Gives 1 point to the user.

Me too

A Me too is a general approval of a post. Enough Me toos will promote a post.

• Adds 1 to a post's score.
• Gives 1 point to the user.

Spam

Allow your community to report any spam that gets posted so that it can be removed as quickly as possible.

• Subtracts 1 from a post's score.
• Removes 1 point from the user.
• Posts with 5 reactions of Spam will be placed in the spam queue.

Abuse

Report posts that are abusive or violate your terms of service so that they can be alerted to a moderator's attention.

• Subtracts 1 from a post's score.
• Removes 1 point from the user.
• Posts with 5 reactions of Abuse will be placed in the moderation queue.
• Posts will be removed when they get 10 reactions of Abuse.
