Can ASUS provide the edl tool? +Some notes

Ive been browsing through the forum and I've noticed ppl having issues with the firmware, and the phones bricking by itself, would be nice to have an option 2 for fixing it by yourself
And some notes to ASUS:
-In one review of the Zenfone 8 from the Israeli review channel "wisebuy" Asus told them that the battery should last more than 4 hours s.o.t (and Asus changed the device)
- I went though all the settings and didn't find the setting to turn off the notification reader when in headphones, would like to turn it off
-update the firmware page on the site, it is very outdated
Thanks in advance for the responses

We provide an unlock tool on the official support page. Make sure you 100% understand what that process entails before using it to unlock your device.
For the notifications being read back to you, check your Google Assistant settings: https://support.google.com/assistant/answer/7515695?hl=en-GB&co=GENIE.Platform%3DAndroid
The support website should have the latest FW versions available for download. Which website are you referring to?

First of all thanks for the response!
but I didn't ask about the bootloader unlock tool, I was talking about the Qualcomm emergency download mode tool so if the phone goes bananas on the software side we can do something with it
But that is cool that there is a tool for unlocking the bootloader through the phone itself
About the notification reader thank you, I forgot that there is a assistant Settings
And thanks for updating the page, never knew that there is a new firmware is it only for the Japan and the other region?
Or can I update to it on my Israeli bought phone?
@koallawindows10 It should probably work fine but I would recommend that you wait for the regular WW version, shuold be around the corner. By the way, you are getting automatic FOTA updates for your device, right?
Usually yes accept the .98(?) Firmware that had been pulled back, but in general I would wait for the official update because I am concerned about the warrenty being valid after the update from a file
And I checked, no update for me yet
I wish the warrenty would be like onepluses so I could do crazy stuff like (root and install custom roms and kernels)
Btw, I never understood the way that Asus taking, is it more open with the community? Or like the other tech giants that sometimes just putting sticks in the community's plans and needs (3.5, device drivers, and some other stuff that the high needing customers need) ?
@koallawindows10 Manually updating your firmware using the UL file from our support page won't mess with your warranty in any way.
Oh, cool, so I guess I will update cause ww to ww is good
