6 Screenshot or video: Yes, depicts the Front LED and Audio issues

Detailed description : New Laptop, performed all the updates available under Windows Update and MyAsus on first start up

  • FN key does not work and hence do not have access to any of the F1-F12 secondary functions 
  • Left ''Shift'' key does not work
  • "| \" key next to the Left ''shift'' key does not work
  • The front LED strip (under the laptop) does not work
  • Speaker at the top right corner (right above the power button) make a continuous popping/cracking sound every time a video/audio is played

I have reset the OS and installed all updates the 2nd time but to no avail.

Please advise.

    Do you remember having any of the issue before you do any update?

    There might be firmware update failed on your laptop, and reset can not fix it.

    And it would be quite hard to dig in which update fail at this moment.

    Please try to update BIOS and reinstall KB firmware, ASUS System Control Interface, and Armoury Crate.


    If it still doesn't work, I would suggest you to send the device to our service center.

    Thanks for the revert.

    Can't say what happened before the update as the first thing that I did was to install the updates.

    Tried the below as suggested. Again no luck.
