They are not responding properly. They came to the conclusion that whatever happens after the warranty the users should pay for that. This is not fair at all. This is purely a mistake from the ASUS end. For god's sake, do not buy or suggest any friends buy any product from ASUS.
Same with me. Contacted customer support. the only thing they say is my phone, my responsibility. the warranty period ends, so no support. where it's clearly a manufacturing defect. Please let's do something against them.
@[email protected] please PM about the consumer lawsuit as well. ASUS and its representatives have been asking us to visit service centres in a pandemic for a hardware repair when the issue and its problem clearly lies with the company. The issue would not have been so widespread on forums if it was a minor issue.
same problem i had yesterday, charged my phone at 72% ... after 5 min. it was dead
@ARP_ASUS @Gustav_ASUS Maybe offer a free repair program like apple does. I suggest forwarding it to the upper management at this point as I'm pretty sure now that the chip defects are hitting their deaths peolpe will otherwise get a lawsuit going much like apple is currently getting because they refused to make a free repair program on their 2016 15" and 2017 macbooks. I know you as mods cannot do anything direcly about this but the management should probably be interested in not having to face lawsuits about this.

Same here.. when i charge my rog phone 2 and video call on whatsapp.. a minute later the phone auto shutdown.. its very annoying 😡
Hi Asus, I am also facing restart when charging. It is okay during other times. Please ASUS help us out here.
mine restarts sometimes, what annoys me most are the pops in the microphone when recording videos or recording voice.
I'm also facing this shot problem. Huge screen burn cause the touch resistance,. Should we go for consumer court ?
Screen burn is not covered under warranty. You could of avoided it by lowering the brightness and change screens now and then to prevent static objects being on the screen and leaving a mark.
I think the OP has given up on this because he wasn't expected to file in himself.
