  • Hello rushy7,

Please kindly share a screenshot of your task manager to dig in if there is specific program or function that is using more power than expected.

Also, please refer to our battery test detail below. The battery life differs from spec and usage.

"Battery tests conducted by ASUS on April 3, 2020 using the MobileMark® 2014 Office Productivity scenario. Test configuration: ZenBook UX325JA, 1W FHD LCD panel, Intel® Core™ I7-1065G7, 2TB PCIe® 3.0 x4 SSD, 32GB RAM. Test settings: WiFi enabled, the display brightness set to 150cd/m2, NumberPad off. Actual battery life may vary depending on product configuration, usage, operational conditions and power management settings. Battery life will decrease over the lifetime of the battery"

    Thank you.

  • Hello rushy7,

    Thank you for the information.

Then let's run the diagnostic tool in MyASUS, see if there is any problem.

Also, may you run the battery report by cmd ?

    Thank you.

  • i dont have your model laptop.

type below command in cmd with admin rights, and wait for 6 minutes, don't do any work

    PowerCfg.exe /ENERGY -output C:\Energy-Report12-02-2021.html /duration 240

report will be stored in C:\ , zip the file and upload here

  • ok thanks enclosed the file

  • Just now I seen report. your laptop battery power is Fully available.

CPU utilisation is too high in your laptop , when compared to normal process.

CPU working fully background without sleeping .

And sleeping time is disabled in Windows OS.

    solution

    1. Disable all running background applications.

    2. Delete or disable tasks under task scheduler.

    3. disable startup items under task manager.

  • what do i disable ?

  • ok thank you for your help

  • i uploaded batch files in zip format , download it and unzip it ,

then open this file ""delete all schtasks.bat"" with notepad,

replace RAJU by YOURNAME and save it .

Now create new system restore point for the secure process,

then boot windows into safe mode ,

then run the below files with admin rights

    ""delete all schtasks.bat""

above file deletes most of the scheduled tasks , if asked asked permission means click ok.

    ""Clear_Event_Viewer_Logs.bat""

above file deletes all event viewer files stored in C partition.

don't forget to create a system restore point , before executing two files .

In your windows OS , currently three antivirus or antimalware applications simultaneously, so these create hungry power taking from battery.

Use only one antivirus application out of three Comodo internet security or Mlawarebytes or Microsoft windows defender . i using only one application called microsoft windows defender .

Uninstall Google crash reporter application .

Uninstall or disable microsoft edge update service

You can use Google chrome browser for enterprise in .msi format .

you can download from below official site

Download Chrome Browser for Your Business - Chrome Enterprise

  • Hello rushy7,

There were a national holiday here and I'm sorry that the announcement was not clear enough for you.

There is not much abnormal in the reports. There is usage, then there is power consumption.

You may try different ways to lower the consumption, but please remember that the performance would be lower as well.

There is quite a lot of options in your power setting you may try.

    Thank you.
