Knowing the PSI details
 

 

 
Below are the PSI details that you need to know when reading the PSI output on your device:
  • 0-50: Good  
    The air quality is clean and good for the health of general public.
  • 51-100: General   
    The air quality is good in general but may pose little health risks with no immediate impact for people with mild respiratory problems.
  • 100-199: Bad  
    The air quality is bad especially for people with mild and severe respiratory problems. General public may also be slightly affected.Under such air condition, we suggest the public wear surgical facemask to filter the air that you breathe. 
  • 200-299: Very Bad  
    The air quality is greatly low for the general public and may deteriorate the people's health who suffered from respiratory problems. This may also cause severe respiratory diseases to the public so going outdoor is not suggested.
  • 300 and above: Harmful  
    The air quality is hazardous to health for all.
 
Knowing the PM 2.5 values
 
 
Below are the PM2.5 details for your reference:
  • Index Grade 1-3: Low classification    
    The concentration level of this index is 0-35. There is few or nearly no impact on the general public. You can have your regular outdoor activities even if you have medical conditions.
  • Index Grade 4-6: Moderate classification   
    The concentration level of this index is 36-53. There is few impact on the general public;however, if you have cardiac or respiratory problems and whenever you feel the symptoms of these conditions, we suggest you lower physical exertion,such as outdoor activities.
  • Index 7-9: High classification    
    The concentration level of this index is 54-70. If you feel uncomfortable with such symptoms as eye pain, cough or sore throat, avoid having the outdoor activities. If you have heart, respiratory, or cardiovascular related disease,avoid having physical outdoor activities. Also if you’re asthmatic, you may need to increase the intake of inhalers for relief.
  • Index 10: Very high classification    
    The concentration level of this index is 71 and above. If you feel uncomfortable with such symptoms as eye pain, cough or sore throat, avoid having the outdoor activities. If you have  heart, respiratory, or cardiovascular condition, avoid ALL physical outdoor activities. Also if you’re asthmatic, you may need to increase the intake of inhalers for relief.
