Manual mode allows you to manually control the camera’s settings. In this mode, you can fully control your camera’s settings by adjusting its shutter speed, distance of the focus, ISO, white balance, and exposure value.
To capture photos or videos using Manual mode, tap
from the Camera app, then tap
Manual.
The Manual mode screen has framing grids and virtual horizon lines that you can refer to as guides to set the subjects in focus and shoot the best possible photos or videos.
Inside the Manual mode, you can use its features to the settings that bring out the best output of your photos and videos.
To use the manual settings, tap
to launch the settings bar, then select the setting that you want to adjust.
- Tap from the settings bar.
- Move the orange slider to set the subject in clear focus.
- Adjusting the shutter speed
- Tap from the settings bar.
- Tap the value that you want to set for your shutter speed.
- Tap from the settings bar.
- Tap the value that you want to set to adjust your camera’s sensitivity to light.
- Adjusting the exposure value
- Tap from the settings bar.
- Tap the value that you want to set the exposure compensation when shooting photos or videos.
TIP: For a slow-motion effect, you can also adjust your camera’s shutter speed while adjusting the exposure value.
- Tap from the settings bar.
- Move the orange slider to adjust the intensity of the white color and provide you a better color temperature of your photos or videos.
