Android 11 stable Related Upset
========================================
Others brands always make their customers clarified about when they are going to release any os upgrade update. But I am very upset that Asus doesn't do the same thing with their customer.
Sometimes it's getting too worried. & We started to fix several controversial dates.
Please Asus tell us any exact date or week. Please @Anders_ASUS

Really man...I don't know what's happening..they are burning their brand image redicuously ....I mean they started beta program in September n December is coming to an end...I m not pointing on the efforts but atleast answer something how can you expect others to believe that asus is way better than other brand....
They plan on releasing it when it is stable. How can they know exactly when it is going to be finished? Not attempting to criticize you, but if they were to name an exact date, they would have to just release it "as is" at that time, significant bugs remaining or not. @Anders_ASUS has said at least a few times that it is close and suggested there were a last few bugs they were trying to stamp out. Such problems don't come with specific timestamp endpoints.
Yeah it will be released "when it's ready"
For example just see in what state cyberpunk 2077 launched in ๐
By the way that was one the most hyped video game of this year almost 8yrs in production with a high profile cast a part of it
Both aren't comparable ik but just wanted to state that
None of the other brands have an ongoing beta program or a release date for stable android 11 for their 2019 phones so there's that
Some devices of xaiomi & Realme already set a time line i.e, last week of December
Remember that once this android 11 will be released, you will no more care one mounth later ...
It was actually 5 years, just storywriting and an announcement was made earlier. Aside offtopic they really seem to be having a hard time with Android 11.
They are saying now that they are working android 11 bug free. & I am damn sure they will release android 11 STABLE with several bugs. Then they will say we are trying.
Their efford & satisfaction service is nowhere . Just getting upset some bugs on android 10.
Hoping & waiting for android 11 to get major bug free android 11.
Asus @andersn.feather@and06tw@Anders Asus please provide ...11
their trying to give us the most stable software possible. Indeed I did never experienced big bugs with them in 1 year and half.
Android 10 was released quite bug free and quite in fast time.
There were some important bugs to solve before to release.
Of course any software as some bugs. Any.
I have never had a problem with updates either, it was always stable and without problems.
We knew it , and that's it
I was quite sure when I finally decided to get 6z, I suspected from their good promises done so far for all previous models, it was pretty much expected.
That's why one good thing anyone can practice is to not to update their phones
And to be aware of all strategic / gimmick words they quote while launching
I think the last major bug was solved in the latest beta so stable should be near hopefully ๐ค
I remember reading that this year all OEMs are having trouble due to some Qualcomm stuff which Qualcomm has been slow to fix
Even OnePlus is having some issues with data encryption on their OnePlus 7 which is delaying the closed beta for android 11.
You guys are simply whining without knowing how s/w development works. It's been a hard year for all companies having to adjust with the fact that entire workforce is working from home. So the release timelines are expectedly delayed.
Also, it's not as if current A10 is unusable. Have patience and let them do their job rather than whining pointlessly.
New beta update (got the pic from tg)
I wonder how many bugs in android 11 that took so long until global version ๐
The more bugs they patch in this stage the better experience the end user will have when they get stable ota and from what we've seen Asus really seems determined to patch as many bugs as they can, if I'm not wrong this was the 14th android 11 beta for the Zenfone 6
Plus I hear that OEMs have been having some issues with Qualcomm too (oneplus delayed A11 for Op7 series for this reason)regarding A11 so that should've delayed developement a bit too
A11 would be last major update z6 and then only security fixes so better to let asus fix all critical/major bugs in beta itself for faster fixes. 10/20 days delay is not a delay.
I don't think I remember exactly but 6z came with A10 n asus promises for 2 android updates. Correct me if I m wrng
Came with 9 and updated to 10 a few months later.
