We found out that most of the user issues on video playbacks are related to the SD card. As we are currently looking to this particular issue, we suggest you try the following tips in the meantime:

  1. If you are using MX Player and installed in your SD card, uninstall and reinstall it to your internal storage instead then try again if there are improvements.

  2. If you installed Facebook and Facebook Messenger in your SD card, uninstall and reinstall it to your internal storage.

  3. If your videos are saved in your SD card, please move them into your internal storage then playback from there.

  4. If you play videos using Google Photos, update the app to its latest version then try again.
  5. Even If you play videos using ASUS Gallery, you still need to update Google Photos because it is a pre-loaded app that needs to be updated to avoid video playback issues. Otherwise, you may simply disable/uninstall Google Photos to prevent such issues.

After doing any of these tips, remember to restart your phone before trying to playback videos again.
