BATTERY DRAIN

Please tell us some basic information before asking for help:

  1. Model Name:ASUS ZENFONE MAX M1
  2. Firmware Version:WW-15.00.2007.122
  3. Rooted or not: NOT ROOTED
  4. Frequency of Occurrence:DAILY
  5. APP Name & APP Version (If your issue relates to the app):BATTERY

In addition to information above, please also provide as much details as you can, e.g., using scenario, what troubleshooting you've already done, screenshot, etc.

RECENTLY, MOBILE NETWORK STANDBY battery consumption is increasing rapidly. At the end of day, it is showing around 24% percent. I have to charge my mobile 3 times per day due to battery drain. Any suggestions for the battery drain and any information about the update because the last update received was around the end of JULY month.......

  • Hi, Please follow below steps may improve battery backup:

    1. Enable “Power saver” (Settings > Power management)

    2. Close apps that are not used (Bluetooth, WiFi, GPS, etc.)

    3. Adjust sleep time and brightness (Settings > Display)

    4. Boost memory when you see memory consumption is high with no app running,

    5. check for background running applications, stop/disable unwanted apps, you can manage apps from auto-start manager.

    1. Clear system cache.

    2. Try the same under safe mode:

    Hold the power button for 5 seconds => When the screen flashes with option => Press & hold power option => You will get an option to restart in safe mode

    3. If still you face the issue
