Hi 5227252272
Please avoid overlapping thread or message, which may disturb the mods and the users to solve the issue.
Kindly refer to the thread below as similar issue
But In my app list I didn't find any app like (dk.icepower.icesound)
What will I do now?
Doesnt show up on phone. Shows up on adb list on PC.
I have an issue related sound.
In my Zenfone Max pro m2 (ZB630KL) after QKQ1.WW_Phone-17.2018.2007.428-20200903 (Android 10 Beta) update, the output of 3.5mm headset, Bluetooth & USB audio is very cheap quality that there is no bass. Also the earpiece volume is too low of outgoing call.
So I look for a method that mentioned in Zentalk.
The method was to uninstall (Icepower) using adb.
But in my phone in the system app list, there is no app or package named Icepower.
So what to do now?
Help me please.!
Hi 5227252272
Thank you for your reply. As I mentioned, MPM2 sound issue is now under investigation, please refer to the thread I provided. The method of *uninstalling (Icepower) by using adb is provided by power users in the community. However, I don't suggest you to do if you are not familiar with debugging and it may affect the sound performance in other scenario.
Thanks.
I uninstalled Icepower using adb. There is no output problem now.
But why the earpiece volume is too low?
Is it a physical issue or software bug?
From Android 8 (when I purchased) to Android 10 I'm facing the same issue.
Is there any solution?
Hi 5227252272
Thank you for your reply. You may try with other earphones. If you have faced the issue since the beginning, I suggest you to bring your device to the repair center for the device checking: https://www.asus.com/support/Service-Center-All-Countries/
If it is impossible to access the service center during Covid-19 period, please try Call us: https://www.asus.com/support/CallUs
How was it before uninstalling the icepower app?
Was it the same?
Low bass issue was with the Icepower, that was present on Android 10 update. (I've fixed it)
The earpiece issue is not related with the Icepower package.
Low earpiece volume of this device was present when I purchased this device. I thought an Android update will fix this. When I'm in public place It really hard to hear voice calls so I've to put it on loudspeaker.
Unfortunately, from Android 8 to 10 it doesn't fix.
Is it a software bug? Or any hardware problem.
Or the phone was configured from factory in this way?
I suggest there is a high possibility of faulty hardware, device or earphones. The sound performance of my device in Android 9 and Android 10 works properly. Normally 30% volume while using the earphones is really loud for me. If you suspect any software issue like 3rd party apps, you can give the Factory Reset a try.
Thanks for the support.!👍
It means hardware failure. Because a few days ago I installed stock Rom via Computer.
Something i need to know...If you can tell, it'll be grateful.
Last time this device was running on Android 9.
I unlocked the bootloader using ADB command. (Not using the official Unlocker app)
And Give root access using magisk.
Then The Wi-fi, Camera, Flashlight and incoming-outgoing calls doesn't work. (Internet Working)
Why did this happened?
many MPM2 users have already said that even after changing earpiece or updating to A10 problem is not solved
I think (ZB631KL) NFC variant doesn't have problem.
Hi abhaykrishnan02
