same here, and in games the fans are at 4000 rpm and if the laptop gets too hot it reaches even 5000 rpm
Thank you for your quick answer.
We are investigating this issue now and will keep you updated.
here is the recording, it's a very subtle sound but sometimes can by annoying
Okay @Blake_ASUS . Should I replace this with another one since this one have 7 day replacement guarantee or is there any solution of this problem or this is only myasus software bug.
Today I perform stress test fan speed went upto 6000 rpm and in silent mode it relaxed upon 2500rpm.
Yep, max rpm that i got were 5500rpm on both cpu and gpu, this while gaming not stress testing, and after closing the game the temperature quickly went down and fans spinned les, to like 2700 rpm
Thank you so much for the record.
It's a software bug.
We are working on it.
@Blake_ASUS Ive got the same issue with my FX505GT. Im up at BIOS 308.
The Bios shows stable fan speeds but MyAsus has the same "issue with fan" thing. SpeedFan shows the speed is 14RPM and I cant find a way to manually raise the fan speed. Please Help
Update: I updated ASUS System Control Interface V2 v22.214.171.124 and MyAsus. The diagnostic doesnt show any issues with the fan but SpeedFan still shows 14RPM and peaking high temperatures.
Some people on r/asus on reddit have suggested to roll back to BIOS 305. Should I try it too?
There will be another ASUS system control interface V2 update for FX505 series.
I will keep you all updated.
for other models, please kindly update ASUS System Control Interface V2 v126.96.36.199
and REBOOT the device, then reinstall MyASUS.
Thank you so much.
Mine is FX505DT was having the same issue. But after updating MyASUS version from 2.2.41 to 2.2.45 the issue has fixed.
