If it is a Software Bug, why has the Oneplus 8 Pro the same issue like the ROG 3 while the Oneplus 8T don't have this issue even both Oneplus Phone's are HDR10+ Display with 120 HZ? I don't believe Oneplus has a "better" Software on one of this two devices.
Theres already a new one on the way. And no fix for this one yet. Despite numerous requests and customer protests this is the response from ASUS we get. They have diverted their manpower for the next gen when they claim we have to wait for the fix as the pandemic is causing the delay.
Asus will soon introduce the new Asus ROG Phone 5 with Snapdragon 888 in a few weeks and months, and what does that mean ???? The only thing was that the ROG3 was hardware defective with a faulty display that could not be repaired by software. After the introduction of the new Asus, I will stop producing it.
so if someone is still really waiting for the display to be repaired, you're naive. Is over. War is a loss.
If this launches in the first half of next year, there should be a buyback/exchange kind of scheme. Though we don't know how much the new processor and the things associated with that costs.
Nevertheless it is pretty rough that issues on the current device are being addressed casually, a flagship no less, and already the price is being dropped with only 4-5 months down I suspect with the aim to move out the units available and discontinue the production. The next phone is already on the way.
But also I think this is how jittery and unstable this industry wants to make people in general. Social media and youtube adds to the frenzy.
Yes same here. Until the time when we realise we were just blabbering here while the devs and Asus kept laughing behind our backs thinking "ha ha kyasa murgi banaya in logo ko" 😂😂
More than sad i am really disappointed i had real high hopes with the Rog phone 3 and i waited for months following every possible leak just to get the ROG phone. I don't think there's anything left to be done now the mods are not saying anything since they all are busy on the rog phone 5.
The Asus ROG 3 is a laughing stock. A sorry excuse for a smartphone. I have been waiting for it for a long time umtil it finally released. First and last smartphone I ever get from Asus.
Just like one our fellows above, I managed to convince my friends to not get the ROG 3 or any Asus phone for that matter.
Their costumer service is horrible and the issues are beyond belief for a flagship phone.
I should have sticked with OnePlus like the last 5 years. Not a single complaint. Very prompt and responsive forum and quik bug fixes. The only thing drove me here are the overwhelming attractive specs. Thiught would try something new. Lesson learnt.

Even the risk some user's here get more bored..

The rog phone 5 (4th gen) will be launched on next year. Isn't that a dream come true?

Yes. But also let the new victims come and join us.
Still hoping the upcoming OTA solves the issues as per the claims.

Yup OnePlus 8pro would be a more premium and worth choice
ROG Phone 3 game over......🤬
Are there ROG 3 phones that does not suffer the black crush issue? I have read comments stating that some users do not experience black crush....
Because they don't care about it or they are accustomed to using with black crush.
