Could not update and resolution

Hi
I have bought a ZenFone max plus. But it did not update to android Oreo. Unfortunately I could not register it also. On the other hand the resolution of screen is 320. Could anyone help?

Have you ever unlocked your device before? If you haven't unlocked the device, kindly try to perform the Factory Reset first: Settings>System>Reset options>Erase all data(factory reset)
Please note that once the Factory Reset is completed, all data, apps, settings and personal information will be deleted.
then check on Settings>System>System Updates

Furthermore, you can try the manual update by download the file from the official website into the root directory of the internal storage, aka the outermost place of the internal storage.
