After update to andrid 9 bluetooth not working

Today I update my phone to android 9. After the update i had the surprise, bluetooth connection with the car is not working. With android 7 (the version before the update) i had no problem since Today. But after the update the car is continously connecting and soon disconnecting.

Could someone help me?

  • Hi vincenzo.forte

Thank you for your asking. Kindly try some stay-at-home troubleshooting tips below:

    1. Update your firmware version to the latest WW-16.0610.2002.94

    2. Delete the connect information in your car

    3. Please try reset Network: Settings>System>Reset options>Reset Wi-Fi, mobile & Bluetooth

    4. Reconnect the device again

    5. Also, please try "the Factory Reset"

    Settings>System>Reset options>Erase all data(factory reset)

Please note that once the Factory Reset is completed, all data, apps, settings and personal information will be deleted.

If the issue remains the same, kindly let me know. Thank you.

  • Hi, Thank You for your reply.

I can't reset the mobile, wifi and bluetooth because when I try the setting page remain looping and android asks me to close or to wait. My firmware version is the same You suggested (the issue started just after the ugrade) . In the next days I backup my phone to make a factory reset.

I tried to install bluetooth phone book as suggested in some forums on internet or to change the pbap version without success.

    Please help me!

  • Hi vincenzo.forte

Thank you for your reply. If you can't not perform the network settings reset or the factory reset from Settings>System>Reset options, please try the following steps to access recovery mode for the Factory Reset:

    0. Try to back up your data with USB cable

    1. Power off the phone, then keep pressing "volume down key"

    2. Press "power key" and stop press " power key" once you feel the vibration. Still keep pressing "volume down key".

    3. Stop press "volume down key" once you enter [Android Recovery] Screen

    4. Choose "Wipe data/factory reset">"Yes"

    5. "Reboot system now"

Please note that once the steps are completed, all data, apps, settings and personal information will be deleted.

Furthermore, please make sure to update all apps to the latest version to avoid the conflict between the firmware and the apps.
