Hi Jorel
Thank you for your asking. Kindly try some stay-at-home troubleshooting tips below:
1. Please try to reset Network: Settings>System>Reset>Network settings reset
2. Which version did you update from? Did you perform the cross-Android update before the issue appear?
3. Please try to enter "Safe Mode". If the function works well in Safe Mode yet the issue remains out of Safe Mode, please check on any disturbance from the installed 3rd party apps.
# How to enter and exit "Safe Mode"
4. Last, please try "the Factory Reset"
Setting>System>Reset>Factory data reset
Please note that once the Factory Reset is completed, all data, apps, settings and personal information will be deleted.
I've tried all those troubleshooting tips including factory data reset but sadly "No Service" status re-appears. And here I am, started over again.

Does the situation remain the same after the firmware update?
You can also try to replace your sim cards with the new sim card from providers, generally it helps
I already did but it didn't work.
Yes, the situation remains the same after the firmware update.
which android version you are using? If you are using android 8, then please upgrade to Android 9. if on android 9 it gets same then, there may be sim card slot reader issue, for this then only asus service can provide you the solution.
Even I am facing the same problems as mentioned by jorel since the update (I have the same phone model as jorel) and am also finding an abnormally long charging time and excessive heating of the device while charging since the update . I have tried all the above solutions given by Christine too but have not found it fruitful. Please help
