Zenfone 5z not being connected to laptop

My device Zenfone is not being connected to my laptop for the last 1-2 months. I have recently changed the data cable as well thinking it might be the issue of the cable. Other devices are being able to be connected to the laptop, but not my phone.

Is this a bug or something, how can I fix the issue?!


  • Is your phone charging normally with the same cable?

  • Hi, we'd request you follow the below steps:

    1. Clear system cache.

    2. Try the same under safe mode:

    Hold the power button for 5 seconds => When the screen flashes with option => Press & hold power option => You will get an option to restart in safe mode

    3. If still you face the issue factory reset your phone after taking a full backup.
