Does Asus Zenbook UX310U support nvm-e ssd ?

I have UX310 with i7-8550U CPU. I just want to learn does this model support faster SSDs in m2 slot (more than 500+ mb/s read write) when I call ASUS Consumer Service they just say we don't know if you send the laptop we can test it.

Did anyone test it before ?

@CarsonGrey for this model, it only support SSD type SATA3 and the maximum capacity we have tested is 512GB.
