Hi chrisdionleon80
Does the issue happened in Android 9?
Does it appear on the stock camera and Instagram as well?
We suggest that you try clearing cache & storage of Camera (long press "Camera">App Info>Storage & memory>Clear cache/Clear storage), and try to re-install Instagram and check again.
If the problem still appears, please show us an original video of this problem.
Please also provide us the information below:
Rear/front camera, which camera mode, what camera settings( Access the camera settings by tapping the upper right three dots and screenshot this page.)
the most bright is in camera viewfinder...its look bright...and when im using the video its look very dark...
The most bright is the viewfinder of stock camera, and when im using video the video look so dark...please fix it in the next update :\, and i'm using default settings
Video recording comes a bit darker than picture or what you see in viewfinder. This is normal behavior of every phone.
but when using a9 it's look bright
Low ISO helps video recording to shake less in dark conditions. Same thing you'll find on Samsung phones too.
Btw maybe In future asus will update it after reading this thread.
Hi all
Thank you all for sharing. Please check some tips for using the stock camera below😉
1. Pro Mode: Adjust your favorite presenting mode, from ISO, EV, WB, S to AF. You could try other modes (e,g. Beauty, Google Lens..) as well.
2. HDR: Once HDR is triggered, try you best to avoid tremors while taking picture.
If you still could not adjust a prefered pro mode, could you provide me more information so that I could "get the picture" more? ;)
1. Original picture
Camera>Settings>Restore default setting>Pro Mode>adjust a setting you like
2. Screenshot of the settings in Camera and the settings in Pro Mode
3. Issue detail
Thank you.
