Same here, i lost my aac codec. using sony wf-1000xm3 in latest firmware, there is no aac support. Even when using developer option, no acc there.
R u on a9? Because i saw that option in a10... Anyways i m back on a9...
No, I'm in latest a10 firmware. Before this 17.0230.2002.32 firmware, i have aac codec. Now on this latest firmware, it's gone.
Here, since Android 10, no AAC.
Have you downloaded the latest firmware update? I just checked dev options on the .60 update and AAC is showing in the list.

Waiting for fota. I see updated list on those latest firmware, no mention about aac. But will wait for fota update .60 firmware
Yes, updated, and tested again, ROGII doesn't detect AAC. I don't touched dev options, I see what codec is being used with "Poweramp" app. @Gustav_ASUS @Anders_ASUS
(Zenfone Max Pro M1 with Android 9 detects and runs AAC codec with this car audio player normally)
Its realme buds wireless, just renames as zenEar. But do you get HD audio toggle? It was not there in android 9.
If you don't see it, select aac in developer options, and then check again.
@Melqui @zeguym
Which firmware version you use?
In my a10 .32 firmware, there is no aac option in developer option. Before those version i still had aac codec
Don't see Audio HD option. I don't want to modify developer option.
I'm on .60, the lastest one. Try after updating.
You do realise that there reset to default button in developer options right? Anyways there you go, I don't see any other way.
So i manual updated to 2004.60
I got my aac codec again. In Bluetooth setting, at first not showing hd audio, so i check again in developer option, and there is aac codec. After i select those codec, there is hd audio option
So, "system selector" don't choose the correct codec! Bug! I don't want to select AAC in developer options every time!
@Gustav_ASUS
Android 10
" I don't want to select AAC in developer options every time!"
The user should no need to use developer options, this should be automatic!
