Random shutdowns zenfone 5Q (X017DA, ZC600KL)

Hi, since the last update, my zenfone 5q shutdowns randomly frequently, and if i try power on after the shutdown, it don't power on, i must wait 5 mins. I already did factory reset two times, but the problem persist.

Please help me.

  • I have a similar problem the same team zenfone 5q x017da zc600kl the difference was that my team did not turn on anymore, it stayed on the asus logo, I do not know what happened to asus and many have presented problems after updates

    1. It shut down during using any app/function or just simply shut down during rest mode. If so, how long did the rest mode remain and what kind of activate apps were opened before the phone suddenly shut down.

    2. Any memory card installed?

    3. Was there any zone heating up during the shut-down or the boot-up.

    Do you mean after your phone shutdown, it could not be reboot manually?

    Could you try "hardware reset"? Please note that all data stored on your phone will be deleted after reset.

  • Performed all the steps to carry out the restoration, the equipment does not allow entry due to the fact that this option is blocked from the factory, for this reason my equipment does not work and because it has no technical service in the city of Cartagena, Colombia, I 1 hour and 5 months, I always had failures with this equipment every time they made updates, in the first update the speakers stopped working, in the second I improved and only one speaker worked and in this last one I left the equipment inoperative.

    At least until now, its only have been in standby/rest mode, the shutdown had happened with all my apps installed, after, i did it reset factory and no install anything, same problem, and again i did it reset factory reinstalling manually the last update, with same result. The apps aren't the problem. This proccess i did it with my microsd card off of the phone.

    No, no any zone heat, after the shutdown i inmediately checked the phone, and all temp is ok, as usually was be.

    No, its not hardware problem, its a software problem in the last update, but as always, asus have nothing, only the programed message "contact asus repair center..."

    This is the last time that buy an asus product.

  • I completely agree with you, I will not buy this brand anymore, it is very bad and it is always the same message, my cell phone is inoperative due to its silly updates and they have left me without a cell phone.

  • it's sucks brand, while samsung 2017 device still recieve support and update my zc600kl became out of date. whats this sucks brand.

  • Never buy asus phone again....

    I thought it was a serious brand because they make good laptops, but I see their support is bad.
