not able to get the notification for update file detected on my phone. I've downloaded the android 10 firmware zip for my phone and placed it in the root directory of the phone , restarted several times no notification. The zip file is not corrupt and tried clearing data of the FOTA services app, nothing happens.

Firstly , why do you want to update?
If you are planning for migrating to Beta, then i would suggest , just don't update to beta , because as it's the mid april and the stable update might arrive in the end of this month or in the first week of may.
So just be patient and stick to the firmware you using now.

In addition with @Shahed 's comment, with which I completely agree, you cannot upgrade to the 10 beta AOSP version if your current Firmware version is .061. Your device could only detect the 10 beta firmware if your device run on.059. otherwise as Shahed said, you absolutely don't need to upgrade to the beta 10 while the stable release is just 1 month away.
