Bug after upgrading to Android 10 Beta

  3. Rooted or not: not
  4. Frequency of Occurrence: ever
  5. APP Name & APP Version (If your issue relates to the app):Phone versão 41.0.277149592

In addition to information above, please also provide as much details as you can, e.g., using scenario, what troubleshooting you've already done, screenshot, etc.


After upgrading Zenfone to Android 10 Beta, available on the Asus website, when making a call the microphone does not work, only with headphones. If I open the voice recorder, the microphone works normally

    Did you call with the phone app or other apps that uses mobile data to call?

    If the phone app, please tell us your country and operator.

    If other apps, please tell us the app name and versions.

    Could you hear the other person normally when this problem appears?

  • Hi,

    I can hear the other person, but the other person cannot hear me. 

    This is happening to everyone who upgraded to Android 10.

    When I use the headset or speak through the speakerphone, the other person can hear me.

    This problem occurs using the phone, whatsapp and gooogle Duo application.

    我也跟你有一樣的困擾連messenger也不行用 電話也是要接耳機或開擴音對方才聽得到

    Is OK Google enabled? If yes, we suggest that you try disabling it and check if this improves the problem.

  • For me this worked!! Disabling "OK Google" brought back the microphone function for a normal phone use.

    A new firmware update version WW-17.0615.2003.22 has been released.

    In the version, we improved the issue of no sound in calls when OK Google is activated.
