I could not up date 8.1

I bought this smartphone end of last year at Chinese shop through aliexpress.

android version 7.0
Firm no. WW-14.02.1809.70_20190708
Base band version MOLY.LR11.W1603.MD.MP.V35.4.P119, 2018/09/17 10:38
Kernel version 3.18.35+ [email protected] #1 Mon Jul 8 15:45:08 CST 2019
Build no. WW-Phone-14.02.1809.70-20190708

I tried to up date android version 8.1 by using manual up date.
But I could not it. It indicated failure halfway through.
(Version WW-15.02.1810.347 2018/11/14, version WW-15.02.1904.453 2019/05/23)
Of course, I chcked system up date several times.

But I did not get it.

Could you show me how to do it ?

    Please check the firmware on official website
    Please help to confirm again.you could update to Version WW-15.02.1810.347.when your phone in Version WW-14.02.1809.69.

    I attached screen shot , open your eyes and look it carefully !!!!

    Another person made a same question. Now this model is started bargain sell.

    I think same question will be gradually increased.

    Did you really contact the firmware division person and give me a answer?

    I have the same issue with the same build nr (WW_14.02.1809.70_20190708). I tried manually updating alll the different with a higher version numbering from https://www.asus.com/Phone/ZenFone-Max-Plus-M1/HelpDesk_BIOS/ but no success.

    Could you please help me out?

    Who made this firm ware WW-14.02.1809.70-20190708 .
    I think that not each store but Asus China factory.
    Asus is obliged to solve the problem.

    Because serial No. are all same "C4ATAS000000" &
    Google play protect indicated " not authorized".

    Please check your serial no. Google play protect.

    There are ZenFone Max Plus (M1)(ZB570TL) which are illegal sold by our vender.
    Therefore, if customer encountered unable to update FOTA issue with WW_14.02.1809.70_20190708 version for ZenFone Max Plus (M1)(ZB570TL),
    please follow below steps to guide the customer to verify:
    1. Please ask customer to provide the serial number to verify product condition.
    2. If customer’s serial number is less than 15 digits and the 3rd and 4th digit is not ”AX”. The device is considered as Non-ASUS genuine goods.
    3. Please ask customer to seek for service from original disti/ dealer or original purchase channel.
    4. Customers can also follow the steps to verify product condition by themselves: Please go to ASUS Official Support Site and enter serial number on warranty status search page.
    The way to get serial number is:
    (1) Find the serial number in “Settings” -> "System" -> ”About phone” -> ”Status”-> ” Serial number”
    (2) Serial number is showed on the sticker label of the device or the package box.(The serial number is listed after the word “Serial Number,” “SSN,” “S/N,” or “SN.”)
    If the system shows” The serial number you entered is not valid” ,the device is considered as Non-ASUS genuine goods.

    I have received a mail from Selena-Asus.
    I didn't know till yesterday.

    After that I have sent some quetions to Selena Asus, but no answer.

    And I contacted Aliexpress(seller) and explained all this problem(It can't update Android 8, serila no. are all same no. ,

    Google play protect certification inidacted device is not certified. )Showed letter from Selena Asus .

    Today I got a judgement and I will get a refundt without returning.

    I think aliexpress is very kind ,excellent and wonderful. :lol:lol
    Next I will buy this site.

    If someone have same problem, try to do it.

    You may get a refund.

    I bought this device from Jumia Nigeria.
