What can I do to fix the problems

System: Windows 10
Battery or AC: AC
Description: Windows update always fails. Unknown error
Model: Zenbook Pro 15 UX550GEX_UX580GE
Frequency of Occurrence: Always
Reset OS: No

The unknown error keeps hanging on the screen, which says "Make sure your monitor supports the specified resolution and pixel format. Of course hte screen pad is not responding any more. What can I do?

  • Better not take the risk, but immediately contact support. When I was working on a review of the Papersowl for essayservicescanner.com, I was in exactly the same situation. As a result, everything had to be redone due to initially incorrect actions to solve the problem

    Was there any update or modification before the issue occurred?
    Have you tried to update BIOS and VGA driver ?
    Also, your screenpad remains at 1.0, or you have updated to 2.0?

  • Thanks for the response. I believe that I updated BIOS once. I'm not sure about the screenpad version. I don't know how and where to get the VGA driver updated. How can I find out this information? My windows update is not working either. It fails every time.
