yeah, asus implementation of twin app is crap, and asus have no intention to improve it's app. They satisfied with the app only exist (although it's crap) and can be called feature on their marketing
Solution is easy. You need to export all your contacts to your google account and then you will see them in Whatsapp. If you have your contacts saved on your device, twin whatsapp will not read it.

I m facing same problem i have whatsapp as a twin app and whenever i m adding any new contact an error occurs

Apparently you cant add contact directly from twin app
So try to add it normally
I am also not able to do it. Event creating new contact getting failed for me.
