Known issue. I think @mosimchah posted in another thread that this was not available till this month on Pixel phones with the December security update (maybe I misremember). I assume Asus will be able to implement it in the future.

From my experience with Nexus phones, I remember that some of the new options in developer settings began to work with future updates.
