Hi,
Why is the optical Zoom results of the z6z not that gr8 compared to the other phones having same sensor?
Can it be improved with software updates?

You need to be more specific. Phone camera normally don't have optical zoom like conventional cameras. They use multiple cameras with different focal lengths and software for the transition between.
